DEXPISTOLS & ROC TRAX Presents LESSON.06 "ROC TRAX JAM"

DEXPISTOLS (ROC TRAX)
20XX年、進化したテクノロジーにより、東京ストリー
トカルチャーシーンが生み出した2ピースDJバンド
DEXPISTOLS。 Remixer、Producerとしても活躍する“DJ
MAAR”と、ファッションブランド“ROC STAR”のメインデ
ザイナーとしてもキャリアを続ける“DJ DARUMA”の2人
組。4台のCDJを駆使しサンプラーや楽器のように操
り、サウンドクラッシュ的感覚でElectro Dance Musicを軸
に、HIP HOPでROCKでRAVEな雑食系中毒サウンドを展開して
いる。これまでにも様々なクラブパーティー、フェス
ティバル、ファッションイベントにゲスト出演。'07年
のFUJIROCK FESTIVAL’07の2日目RED MAQUEEでは、JUSTICE、石野
卓球、SIMIAN MOBILE DISCOらと共演し堂々のトリを務め、
無数のクラウドを完全にROCKした。'08年には自らが主
宰するレーベル“ROC TRAX”を本格始動させ、今年1月に
DEXPISTOLSプロデュースによるROC TRAXクルーの音源をコン
パイルしたアルバムROC TRAX presents LESSEN.06 "ROC TRAX JAM"を
リリース。リリースを記念して開催された、WOMBでの
ROC TRAX NIGHTは、DEX HEADZが集結し、シーンでの2人の人気
を不動のものとした。またZEEBRA、THE LOWBROWS等、メ
ジャー、インディー問わず様々なアーティストのREMIX
も手掛けている。常に革新的なスタイルを実践し、常
に斬新なアイディアを提議しつづけ、サウンド、そし
て様々なカルチャーを繋ぎ合わせコール&レスポンス
を武器にクラウドを増殖し続けている。

The Mad Tea Party continues to heat up the dance floor with a fresh mix of Electro, House and Hip Hop music. Armed with their original album LESSON.06 "ROC TRAX JAM,"the two-piece DJ band DEXPISTOLS will make their first landing in Kagoshima. DEX PISTOLS consists of remixer/producer DJ MAAR and ROC STAR clothing designer DJ DARUMA. The duo has been invited to play in France and other countries around the world.


DEXPISTOLS (ROC TRAX) Biography
In the year 20XX, fueled by advanced technology, Tokyo's street culture scene gave birth to the two-piece DJ band DEXPISTOLS. The duo consists of remixer/producer DJ MAAR and Roc Star clothing designer DJ DARUMA. Their skillful weaving of samplers and instrumental pieces using four CDJs creates a "sound clash-like"feel to their intoxicating mix of Electro Dance Music, Hip Hop, Rock and Rave. They've been guests at various club parties, festivals, and fashion events. In the second day of the FUJIROCK FESTIVAL '07 at RED MAQUEE, they rocked endless crowds alongside JUSTICE、石野, 球 and SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO. The year 2008 gave birth to the official ROC TRAX label, and in January of this year, the ROC TRAX crew compilation album LESSON.06 "ROC TRAX JAM" was released. The album release was celebrated at ROC TRAX NIGHT at Womb, where the popular DEX HEAD brought the crowds together and mobilized them. DEXPISTOLS works with the remixes of various artists, both major and indie, such as ZEEBRA and THE LOWBROWS. Armed with a "call-and-response" method, they will fervently continue to put innovative style into practice and new ideas into motion, joining sound and culture to feed the masses.
